Table Games Guide — Blackjack, Roulette & Baccarat
Table games have the best published RTPs on the casino floor. Some of them also have skill elements — but only if you play correctly.
Blackjack
Blackjack has one of the best RTPs of any casino game — up to 99.5% with correct basic strategy. Basic strategy is a fixed decision rule for every possible hand combination: when to hit, stand, double, or split. Deviating from basic strategy raises the house edge. The house edge is also worsened by taking insurance and playing side bets.
Roulette
European roulette (single zero) has a house edge of 2.7% — or an RTP of 97.3%. American roulette (double zero) has a house edge of 5.26%. The difference is one extra pocket on the wheel. Never play American roulette when European is available.
Baccarat
Baccarat has three main bets: Banker (house edge ~1.06%), Player (~1.24%), and Tie (~14.4%). Always bet Banker or Player. The Tie bet has a terrible house edge and should be avoided. There is no skill in baccarat — the drawing rules are fixed by the game.
Casino Hold'em
Casino Hold'em is a poker-format table game where you play against the dealer rather than other players. The Ante bet carries a 2.16% house edge with the optimal strategy. The AA side bet has a much higher house edge and is generally not worth placing.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does card counting work online?
No. Online blackjack — live or RNG — uses a continuous shuffle machine or shuffles after every hand. There is no deck penetration to count.
What is the best table game RTP?
Blackjack with basic strategy is typically 99.5% or better, making it one of the highest RTPs in the casino. Baccarat Banker is close behind at around 98.94%.
Are table games better than slots?
In terms of RTP, yes. Table games typically have a lower house edge than slots. But table games also have lower variance — you rarely win very large multiples of your stake.
