Baccarat Basics
Two bets are close. The tie is not.
Three bets
Player and banker are the main bets. Banker wins slightly more often and charges a 5% commission, which is why the two edges end up close. The published RTP on Speed Baccarat in this catalog is about 98.94% for that main game.
The tie pays more and loses more often. Its edge is several times larger. Pattern charts do not fix it. Leave the tie.
No-commission tables
Some shoes pay banker 1:2 when the banker wins with a six, and charge no commission otherwise. The edge is similar, distributed differently. Read the felt. “No commission” is not “no edge”.
Speed baccarat shortens the time between hands. You will place more bets per hour. The hourly cost of the edge goes up even though each hand is the same.
Patterns
Roads and streaks are a display of past hands. The next hand is dealt from the shoe without regard to the chart. A long banker run is not a reason to switch or to double.
Baccarat is popular in the same apps as Aviator and the Pragmatic slots. It is a different product. Do not move a slot stake onto a banker bet without reading the minimum.
